Digital Multimeters

About Digital Multimeters

Every electrician knows the importance of a digital multimeter. As the name suggests, the DMM is a multifunctional tool that includes several different measurement functions, making it easier to perform standard electrical measurements.

A replacement for traditional analogue multimeters which used a needle scale, DMMs instead present information as number readings on built-in LCD screens, making it much easier to determine accurate results (analogue needle scales are much more erratic).

At PASS we stock a wide range of digital multimeters suitable for everything from common electrical domestic work to specific items for use in potentially combustible environments.

The functional abilities of the multimeter in question depends generally on the price. Lower priced models are great for basic measurements, but higher priced models deliver higher accuracy results and often contain the ability to measure different functions such as temperature.
