The IEE code of practice recommends that pat testing labels should be applied to each appliance after testing. IEC (Kettle type) and extension reels should also be labelled and tested as seperate appliances.

It is very difficult to affix ordinary pat labels to leads and you will often find that when you next come to test the leads the labels that you applied last year have fallen off which makes it difficult to identify each particular lead / cable.

These pat testing labels wrap completely around the cable and are supplied in rolls of 500. They are difficult to remove and there is also space to apply an extra appliance numbered label on the back if you wish.
Dimensions are 44mm wide x 80mm long.

At an extra charge of £10 +vat these pat labels can be customised to include your company name and telephone number along with a barcoded appliance ID which can be read with the majority of barcode scanners for quick and easy entry of appliance ID's, Test date fields can also be pre-printed along with testers initials.

Also available for these pat testing labels are WM12 overlaminates which can be applied over the label to protect it in harsh environments.
