The Testo 881-2 detects infrared radiation above zero degrees Fahrenheit, which it converts into a thermal image on its large high resolution display. The non-intrusive method of checking for weaknesses and faults eliminates the need for time consuming dismantling if items, reducing downtime and cost.

Using the advanced functions of the Testo 881-2 companies are able to conduct ‘predictive maintenance’, which enables the detection and prevention of problems before they turn into costly repairs. This includes the identification of risk areas for mould growth and detection of moisture damage.

High quality image results – The Testo 881-2 Infrared Camera can detect even the smallest change in temperature by utilising a cracking 50 mK thermal sensitivity.

Locate damp/mould risk areas – Detect areas at high risk of mould or damp with the Testo 881-2. This is achieved by calculating the dewpoint (ambient room temperature and air humidity) and entering it into the camera.
 
Built-in digital camera with power LEDs's – The Testo 881 incorporates a digital image with a thermal image of the location. Bright power LEDs built into the Testo 881-2 illuminate areas with poor lighting.

Exchangeable lenses - Using the optional wide angled telephoto lens you are able to see the different sizes and distances of the measurement object.

Min/Max on Area calculation - Minimum and maximum values of an image selection can be determined live directly on site and at a glace.

Isotherm function – Areas of critical temperature are marked on the image with the optical colour alarm.

Voice recording with practical headset – Document measurements with the included headset and voice recording function. This is an invaluable feature when it comes to reporting on surveys away from site. Voice recordings are stored alongside the thermal image.
