The IEE Code of Practice states that, for easy identification of appliances that have either passed or failed an electrical inspection, PAT testing labels should be used.
Using PAT testing stickers helps to clearly label a portable appliance and shows whether an appliance is safe to use. These 500 'pass' and 50 'fail' PAT testing labels measure 44mm by 34mm, which means they are the perfect size for use on a wide range of appliances.
Stickers are helpfully coloured green and red for ‘pass’ and ‘fail’ respectively. ‘Passed’ labels allow marking of:
• Appliance ID
• Date tested
• Date re-test due
• Name of tester
‘Failed’ labels show:
• Appliance ID
• Date tested
• Name of tester
• Large ‘Do Not Use’ text
