Halo Hook - On Ammeter for overhead lines.

The Halo has been designed for measuring current flow on overhead line systems up to 33 KV. The sensing unit, encased in a moulded plastic housing, feeds a circuit utilising solid state devices in a fibre glass tube.

Using operator rods the Halo is hooked over the conductor, after 5 seconds the reading is stored and the instrument can be returned to ground level for the result to be recorded.

Automatic latch-in at highest monitored current over any given time.

Simple to use membrane switches

Sensor unit gap sufficient to accommodate up to 50mm conductors.

3” digit LCD digital display giving readout and condition of battery.

Internally screened against effect of electrostatic fields.

Supplied complete with carrying case.

RMS measurement.

Manufactured under licence from the Electricity Council.
