The Seaward Europa Plus is a light weight version of the Seaward SuperNova.  If you need a PAT tester for a school, college, university or your PAT testing business then the Seaward Europa Plus is the one for you.  It is the preferred PAT tester of PAT testing businesses and companies that have to test large numbers of appliances. It will test IT, non IT and 110v equipment.  If you require a 110v run test take a look at the Seaward SuperNova.

The PAT tester is fully computerised with a built in QWERTY keyboard for fast entry of test results and a built in IEC socket for testing IEC and extension leads.  With the Seaward Europa Plus there is no need for a separate extension lead adapter like some testers.

Seaward Europa Plus Overview:
When carrying out testing the Europa Plus PAT tester first lets you enter the appliance number which can be automatically incremented or decremented.

Then enter the appliances location or room it is in, along with the retest frequency, which is selectable from a drop down menu.

Once the above information has been entered into the Seaward Europa Plus you are presented with a menu of fully configurable pre-defined tests which are factory set.

There are tests for Class 1 and Class 2 equipment of different types; such as hand held and portable equipment, movable and stationary and also IEC and extension lead tests.

Once the test has been selected the Seaward Europa Plus automatically carries out the test and displays the test results on a large clear backlit display.

At the end of the test you can enter the appliance description, serial/model number and any notes. Use the software to enter short codes for things such as descriptions; you don’t have to type “extension lead” all day long for the description when you could just type 9E and the Seaward Europa Plus will automatically change it.

The test results from the Seaward Europa Plus PAT tester can be downloaded to various software packages such as Seaward PATGuard Pro V2 (included)!  The memory on the Seaward Europa Plus will hold 5000 test records, so there is ample space for several weeks worth of testing.

Other facilities include the ability to add a Barcode Scanner (optional) to the tester so that instead of typing a 20 digit serial number you can scan a model/serial number barcode and the information will be transferred directly to the tester. You can even attach a Test ‘n’ Tag Printer (optional) which will produce a label to attach to the appliance.
