Robust, single pole testing device, providing an easy means of checking leakage on unearthed pole cross arms on systems up to 11.5kV. The Seaward Cross Arm Leakage Detector (CARL 1000) usefully identifies damaged or punctured indicators.

Comprising of a detection rod and control box, the Seaward CARL 1000 tests on cross arm indicated at ground level. The Seaward Cross Arm Leakage Detector is insulated at 9 foot at 15kV and is safe to use even in direct contact with energised systems. Operating this high voltage detector couldn’t be easier as results are shown as a pass/fail on the LCD screen.
