Microwave Leakage Detector

This is a CE approved microwave leakage detector with a built-in self-test feature, LCD display, warning LED indicator and audible warning device.

Microwave Leakage Tests should be performed as an integral part of portable appliance testing.

The test on the microwave is as simple as running the microwave leakage detector around the door seals of the microwave under test.

If any leakage is detected then the digital display will indicate the output and if above the preset limit will sound an audible alarm.

In accordance with the routine test defined within BS EN 60335-2-25:2002, Safety of household and similar electrical appliances – Domestic microwave ovens, and within BS EN 60335-2-90:2002, Safety of household and similar electrical appliances – Commercial microwave ovens.

The unit comes complete with full guidance notes on how to use the tester including drawings.

this microwave leakage detector is so easy to use. When the tester is switched on it first calibrates itself to ensure that the unit is working correctly.
Whilst holding down the test button the detector should be ran around the door seal and openings to detect microwave leakage.

If excess levels are found then the alarm will sound. What seperates this tester from most is that you also have the display reading.
