Megger PPK210 Part P Kit
From 2005 the Part P addition to the Building regulations became law. All new domestic installations and modifications to existing wiring, with few exceptions, will require testing by suitably qualified installers.

The Part P Building Regulations requirement is that ‘Reasonable provision shall be made in the design and installation of electrical installations in order to protect persons operating, maintaining or altering the installations from fire or injury.’ And ‘Sufficient information shall be provided so that persons wishing to operate, maintain or alter an electrical installation can do so with reasonable care.’

Megger MIT310 Insulation and Continuity Tester & Megger LRCD210 Loop and RCD Tester
The PPK210 Megger Part P Kit includes a new Megger LRCD210 Loop and RCD Tester with a Megger MIT310 Insulation and Continuity Tester to offer customers a choice of test instruments that meet all the requirements of domestic premise testing under Part P, as well as BS7671 17th Edition Wiring Regulations. Two separate instruments allows dead testing (Continuity and Insulation) to be separated from live testing (Loop and RCD).
