Megger PAT420 Portable Appliance Tester

The Megger PAT420 is a great device for testing your portable electrical equipment to the latest edition of the Code of Practice for the In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.

With an integrated database with space for 1000 assets, USB memory stick support and a full QWERTY keyboard, the Megger PAT420 allows you to easily enter information as well as removing it for use on other systems. The database has been streamlined for ease-of-use and the bright navigation screen and nav buttons ensure that entering data is simple and quick. The system has been completely built
with speed in mind, allowing you to easily download material, test quickly and perform in demanding situations.

Megger's PAT420 is capable of 250V and 500V insulation tests, 200mA, 10A and 25A earth bond tests, differential, touch and alternative leakage tests, operational VA tests, RCD trip tests for portable RCDs rip tests for portable RCDs, anti surge and RCD protected extension leads and power cord testing. You might think with all these tests going on that things would get complex, but the PAT420's integrated soft-touch keys for using common functions ensure that using the device is as simple and easy as possible.

The device also boasts the ability to be used continously, meaning you don't have to wait for it to cool down before re-testing. In addition, the device also includes room-to-room resets, allowing you to test almost instantly whenever you need to.
