PRODUCT DESCRIPTION FOR MEGGER MIT430 INSULATION AND CONTINUITY TESTER

The many functions and features of the Megger MIT430 Insulation and Continuity Tester make it a great value purchase for the maintenance and repair engineer.


Designed for electrical testing by the utilities, industrial, commercial and domestic electricians, the MIT 430 has a wide range of test voltages for insulation testing.


Like the Megger MIT310, Megger MIT320 and Megger MIT415, the Megger430 features an analogue arc and dual digital readout combination. 


The analogue arc shows essential charge and discharge and features a single pointer needle response similar to a moving coil meter. 


The dual digital display has a large main digital readout for good visibility of all measurement results and a second digital display for additional test data.


Want to store and download test results? The MIT430 has an onboard memory which can store test results, which can subsequently be downloaded to a computer with the Megger download manager software.


A handy feature the Megger MIT430 is the option to wirelessly transfer data from the device to your PC via Bluetooth.


Designed to meet the IEC1010-2, EN61557 and the safety requirements for use on CAT IV 600 V, this Megger tester is exceptionally safe to use.


Fast detecting circuitry prevents damage to instruments if accidentally connected to live circuits across phases even if the protection fuse has failed.


Megger MIT430 Insulation Testing Key Features:
• Test voltage - 50 V to 1000 V
• Test Lock - Locks insulation test on continuously.
• Test voltage display - The actual test voltage is displayed on the smaller digital readout, with the insulation result on the larger digital display.
• Analogue arc - The display also features an analogue arc to replicate the response of a moving coil display.
• PI and DAR - Polarisation Index (PI) and Dielectric
• Absorption Ratio (DAR) functions
• 200 GΩ - Insulation testing from 20 GΩ to 200 GΩ
• Silicone leads - High quality flexible silicone test leads are comfortable to use and prevent measurement errors on higher GΩ ranges.
• Test inhibit - prevents testing if voltages in excess of 50 V are detected when making insulation tests.
• Insulation buzzer - The buzzer can be set to buzz if the insulation resistance is above a preset limit, set via the Setup menu.

Megger MIT430 Continuity Testing Key Features:
• Auto-test - Auto test on circuit contact enables real two handed operation without the need to press the test button.
• 200 mA or 20 mA - Either 200 mA or 20 mA continuity test currents are available. 20 mA test current will considerably increase battery life.
• Lead null - Lead resistance compensation (NULL) operates up to 9.99Ω of resistance.
• Buzzer - ON-OFF selected by simple push button.
• Buzzer limit - Continuity buzzer limit alarm provides adjustment of the maximum resistance the continuity buzzer sounds. This is adjustable from 1Ω to 20Ω in 5 steps.
• CAT IV 600V applications
