The MFT1730 17th Edition Multifunction Tester from Megger is part of the new MFT1700 series and has been designed as a heavy duty piece of equipment which has the capability to withstand being dropped or bounced. This new range of multifunction testers build upon the success of the Megger MFT1552 and MFT1553.

This Megger tester will still work if connected across phases, when the wrong range is selected or when accidentally connected to live circuits. It can perform safely in the rain, is dust proof to IP54 and is a CAT IV safety device.

Test buttons at both ends of the Megger MFT1730 Installation Tester ensure there is always one to hand when required and the colour coded selection knobs ensure an easy selection process.

With a large brightly lit display and a carry case with extra space for leads, certificate, pad, screwdrivers and wire cutters, this multifunction machine is an ideal investment.

Bluetooth technology makes testing onsite and downloading a breeze when used in conjunction with Megger PowerSuite software (optional).

The Megger MFT1730 covers a wide variety of tests including: insulation test covering the new 100V range, continuity and resistance test with the new 15mA range, RCD test, earth test including a 3-pole earth electrode, 25v and 50v output voltage and ground noise check, loop test including the new 2 wire no trip test L.PE and PFC measurement displayed with loop resistance per loop testing ranges and, voltage frequency and phase rotation with a new frequency of 15Hz-400Hz and Trms.
