PRODUCT DESCRIPTION FOR MARTINDALE VIPD VOLTAGE TESTER & PROVING UNIT

Safe electrical work requires a voltage indicator that has been proved with a proving unit before and after use.

The Martindale VIPD package of voltage indicator, proving unit and carry case is an ideal safety aid for electricians.

Checking rapidly and safely for AC and DC voltages from 50-600V, the voltage indicator is essential equipment for technicians. Bright, long-life neon indicators give clear and immediate display of voltage and the return lead incorporates an HSC fuse which together with the retractable test prods, ensures that the unit fully meets all safety recommendations.

The tough moulded case construction, heavy duty double insulated cable, large finger guard and retractable lockable prod sheath make this a safe and extremely reliable tester.

The Martindale PD440 is one of the few proving units to check indicators with ranges of 50-600V and can check Drummond and other filament lamps due to the output being sufficient to illuminate the bulb.
