Martindale CP501 Classic Check Plug

 

The Martindale Classic Check Plug is one of the fastest and easiest ways of ensuring 13A plug sockets are wired correctly. Three illuminated high visibility, long life neons will show correct wiring. Other wiring faults are indicated by a combination of lit and unlit neons (a key is given on the front of the Martindale Socket Tester).

 

This virtually indestructible socket tester comes in a flame retardant ABS case with an ergonomic shape for easy removal. Not only this, but the Martindale Classic Check Plug will not trip RCDs because it induces less than 5mA of earth leakage.

 

As with many socket testers, only the presence of an earth is verified. Quality is not assessed.

This socket tester cannot detect common earth and neutral or earth neutral reversal.
