Kewtech KTD50 Digital RCD Tester

The Kewtech KTD50 Digital RCD Tester with Auto test can test type AC and ACS RCDs from 30mA to 500mA. Special RCD features include an auto, ramp and x 2 I ΔN test.

Whilst in auto test mode, the tester automatically runs through all six standard tests, the operator only needs to reset it when it trips. This tester also allows all results to be viewed by using the recall button.

The ramp test slowly increases tripping current until the RCD trips. The display is in mA and it will show up RCDs that are out of specification and those that will be susceptible to nuisance tripping. It can also be used to indicate which circuits have high leakage currents.

The x 2 I ΔN test satisfies the advisory note for verification of disconnection times as specified in the 17th Edition Regulations.

The Kewtech KTD50 RCD Tester measures mains voltage and incorporates a full socket tester that checks for any mis-wiring at the socket.

Also, the Kewtech KTD50 has a unique mains polarity test that can check the mains incoming supply is not in line / neutral reversal.
