Kewtech KTD30 Digital Insulation and Continuity Tester

The KTD 30 Digital Insulation Continuity tester from Kewtech is a comprehensive tester that can test three insulation test voltages.

These three test voltages consist of 250V DC for SELV and PELV circuits, 500V DC for circuits up to and including 500V, and 1000V for circuits above 500V.

This tester has the benefit of an auto-null feature for the 200mA continuity test for the resistance of the test leads. This can cater for long extension leads used in R2 testing as it can null out up to 2 ohms.

There is a hands free mode for the insulation and continuity functions and when set the tester will measure whatever is across its test probes.

The tester has a live circuit warning if a live circuit becomes connected before the test begins.
