FLIR E8 Thermal Imaging Camera Details
The FLIR E8 is a high specification thermal imaging camera that can be used to generate thermal images that are dripping with detail.
This thermal camera includes FLIR's unique MSX technology, a function that actively blends together real and IR images in real time to create images that are much, much more detailed than standard thermal images. This enables the user to easily pick out the detail in images, making it easier to diagnose problems, stop troublesome components or simply make it easier to view the image.
In addition to this enhanced detailed the FLIR E8 also has high IR resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, has high thermal sensitivity for spotting even the finest details in temperature differences and comes with a number of selectable modes for changing the presentation of a thermal image. This comprehensive suite of modes includes MSX, normal thermal images, a picture-in-picture mode, normal images and the ability to swap between different colour palettes.
The FLIR E8 is designed with comfortable use in mind and is ergonomically shaped to make this a reality. Capturing an image is as simple as squeezing the trigger on the back of the device and the front of the tester includes a large-size screen and easy-access buttons for quickly switching between available features.
Want to interact further with your captured images? They can either be recalled on the camera directly or can be downloaded to PC for further analysis using FLIR's Tools software package (included with the camera).
