The City and Guilds In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment 2377-20 (PAT Testing) training course contains both theory and practical elements. Areas of study include hazards of electricity, classification of appliances, dangers, legal requirements, IEE Code of Practice, recording results and using a PAT Tester.
On completion of this PAT Testing training course successful candidates should be able to undertake basic PAT work and keep records to satisfy the Electricity at Works Regulations.
| Assessment |
This City and Guilds PAT Testing course will conclude with a 30 question online examination. This will be open-book and will last one hour.
| Certification |
Successful candidates will achieve a City and Guilds In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment - 2377-20 certificate and a certificate of attendance from PASS.
Candidates who fail the examination will only receive a certificate of attendance from PASS.
