This tester comes with the D-Lock facility which prevents RCD tripping.

All KMP 4100 models are suitable for accurate measurement of earth loop impedance at the origin and at various points throughout an electrical installation. They can also be used to measure the phase to earth loop impedance of exposed metalwork, for example light fittings and trunking using an external earth probe.

Model KMP 4120DL can also directly measure prospective short circuit current with automatic power factor correction.

Offering unmatched technical features and a 0.01ohms resolution, the KMP 4120DL remains the only tester of its type able to perform loop tests without tripping most passive RCD's. Using its Robin patented D-Lok system it is the first choice for those who appreciate the limitations imposed by the hazardous and time consuming practice of isolating circuits and "bridging out" RCD's prior to testing.

With 3 pre-selectable loop impedance and PSC ranges it also indicates the correct or incorrect status of the circuit wiring under test.
